What is an ISRC?

ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) is an international standard code for uniquely
identifying sound recordings and music video recordings. The structure (syntax) of ISRC
comprises 12 alphanumeric characters, which should be presented with the 4-character
prefix ‘ISRC’ when displayed in printed form. ISRCs can be assigned by individual artists,
by record companies or other third parties known as ISRC Managers.
FreshTunes doesn't take away the rights of musicians and cannot assign ISRC codes for music
and videos. For more information about ISRC's please visit http://isrc.ifpi.org.
